Inception: The Game

I was watching Inception and I was thinking it would make a good game. It would be a 3rd person shooter similar to Enter the Matrix. There'd be two teams the ones going in to steal or plant ideas and the other would be the defense force.
  While the team stealing ideas would have an objective the other team would only need to kill everyone on the other team to win. Now the team stealing ideas would have to go to the third level and someone would need to left behind at each level to protect their bodies and later give them a kick. 
  When a defense force member is killed he is sent to a random level away from combat and when a thief is killed he is sent to limbo to wait to be saved. The thieves will be more powerful, skilled and will know what the map looks like though so that means they should get killed less often.
  Overall it should be a balanced experience that will hopefully feel original.

    That would be an awesome game! But there has to be one rule. The game has to be made with an amazing engine, not like most movie based games

    By then time that even hit production it would be irrelevant. Although its a good base for an idea you would have to give it its own story and not tie it to Inception for it to be successful, at least thats what I think. I look forward to reading more of your ideas in the future!

    could work. Every deeper level could get more weird. Gives some kind of surrealistic efect the further the game goes.

    thats an awesome idea but maby there should be some NPC that hunt or randomly attack the theives? especially when there in limbo or just gaurding a level waiting to "kick" there team mates
