Dead Island

Well I'm back and I found this pretty cool trailer for a new game called Dead Island. It's a first person open world zombie game. It only has melee weapons that is only limited to how strong you are. It has amazing hit detection since the zombies are layered so their insides spill when you cut them open. I'm pretty excited for this how about you guys leave a comment to tell me how you feel.

Inception: The Game

I was watching Inception and I was thinking it would make a good game. It would be a 3rd person shooter similar to Enter the Matrix. There'd be two teams the ones going in to steal or plant ideas and the other would be the defense force.

  While the team stealing ideas would have an objective the other team would only need to kill everyone on the other team to win. Now the team stealing ideas would have to go to the third level and someone would need to left behind at each level to protect their bodies and later give them a kick. 

  When a defense force member is killed he is sent to a random level away from combat and when a thief is killed he is sent to limbo to wait to be saved. The thieves will be more powerful, skilled and will know what the map looks like though so that means they should get killed less often.

  Overall it should be a balanced experience that will hopefully feel original.

Re Poll

Sorry I didn't post yesterday my new computer is broken. Anyway I've looked at the poll and I decided to add an extra week to it since my comp broke, there's very few voters and Three days wasn't enough time. So it will end next week and this week I'll devote to regular game stuff when I can get to a computer.

MineCity

Sorry I didn't post yesterday I was busy working on this Minecraft city that I hope to use on a pvp server there's a few buildings a subway system, sewers and some other stuff. Anyway the reason I'm bringing this up is to ready you for a poll I'm putting up(not the stripper variety I'm afraid) I want to know if you want me to continue on with random video game stuff or do you want me to dedicate a week to showcase my project?

Perfect Dark

The other day I was thinking about the original Perfect Dark so today I got a N64 emulator and played some Perfect Dark. While I did have a great experience playing it really made me notice the contrast between games then and games now. For example the enemies never took cover when I started shooting at them instead they stood there and took it or sometimes would go prone on the floor. I don't know they might have just had too much bravado but it is still not what I'm used to these days.

New Account

Just made a new psn account for the blog. If anyone wants to add me as a friend my psn is Blopskiller. Also cod multiplayer needs to be fixed, a level 8 against a bunch of level 35+ doesn't make sense.

Minecraft

Just noticed the new Minecraft update. It looks pretty good but it seems like Notch broke the game while updating. There's jelly fish, dyes, cake and new blocks but the game is unbearably laggy. Can't really complain though since Notch has a habit of breaking Minecraft.

New MW

Just heard info about the new Modern Warfare game so I thought I'd tell you guys. It's a prequel about Ghost from MW2 that follows his military career right before join the task force in MW2. The game will not have a new engine and might not be released this year.

I had another free day today so I played Blops online with a bunch of 12 year olds. This made me think about how I can't wait to get Little Big Planet 2 next week so I can play with some more mature people.
